UP Police SI Result 2022

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPBPB) has released the final result of selection of 9534 youth for the post of Sub Inspector (Sub Inspector) and equivalent posts on Sunday. There are 1805 women among the selected.

For the first time in the history of police recruitment, more than 12 lakh candidates became contenders, out of which about ten thousand have been selected through direct recruitment.

This will increase the efficiency of the police department and the sense of security among the people. Candidates participating in the DV/PST and PET of UP Police SI Recruitment can check their results by visiting the official website of Police Recruitment Board, uppbpb.gov.in.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that in Uttar Pradesh Police, a release was issued for 9027 posts of Sub Inspector, 484 of Platoon Commander PAC and 23 posts of Fire II Officer. The Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board conducted online written examination for recruitment from 12 November to 2 December 2021 at various examination centers in the state.

Due to the number of contenders in the online written examination being more than 12 lakhs, the examination could be conducted in 54 shifts for 18 days. After the written examination, 9534 candidates who were successful in the record test, physical standard and physical efficiency test were selected according to their superiority and reservation rules of the government. In this regard, the cut off marks of the selected have also been released.

In the recruitment, candidates from 12 states like Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Rajasthan and Jharkhand etc. participated in the category of general category candidates. Among the selected, 9007 are from UP and 527 from other states. They include 197 from Madhya Pradesh, 172 from Bihar, 43 from Delhi, 39 from Rajasthan, 31 from Haryana, 21 from Uttarakhand etc.
