Maternity, Shishu, and Girl Child Help Scheme
Under the Maternity, Shishu, and Girl Child Help Scheme, women workers are provided equal financial assistance in the event of childbirth. The benefit of this scheme is availed up to two deliveries. The benefit of this scheme is provided to the female laborer only in case of institutional delivery. The benefit of this scheme is provided if the first girl child is a girl child and the second child is also a girl child. If the couple is childless, then the benefit of this scheme is also provided to the adopted girl child. Apart from this, the benefit of this scheme is also provided in the case of abortion and in case of sterilization. If the couple has a son, financial assistance is provided under this scheme as well.
Toilet Assistance Scheme
Through the toilet assistance scheme, an amount of ₹ 12000 will be provided to the applicant for getting the toilet constructed in two equal installments. Out of which the amount of the first installment will be ₹6000 and the amount of the second installment will be ₹6000. The amount of the first installment will be in the form of an incentive advance and the second installment will be provided after the construction is completed and the toilets are used. This amount will be provided through the District Panchayat Raj Officer. To get the benefit of this scheme, the selection of workers will also be done by the District Panchayat Raj Officer. The benefit amount will be paid directly into the beneficiary’s account.
Housing Assistance Scheme
Through the housing assistance scheme, an amount of ₹ 100000 will be provided to the construction workers to build or buy a new house. An amount of ₹ 15000 will be provided under this scheme to repair the already available house. Only one benefit will be provided to a beneficiary. A beneficiary is not eligible to get the benefit of getting the house constructed and repaired. The benefit of this scheme can be availed by the beneficiary only once in a lifetime. To get the benefit of this scheme, the maximum age of the worker should be 55 years.
Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme
Through the Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, scholarships are provided to all registered construction workers below the age of 25, up to a maximum of two boys or girls, till they get higher education from class I. Only two children in a family are eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. ₹150 per month from classes one to five, ₹200 per month from classes 6 to 10, and ₹250 per month from classes 11 to 12 are provided through this scheme. Apart from this, for ITI or equivalent training in government fees, ₹1000 for graduation and ₹200, 0 for engineering medical courses, ₹8000 per month for research, ₹12000 per month for research are provided through this scheme. Apart from this, cycles are also provided to the girls who have passed classes 10 and 12.
Solar Energy Assistance Scheme
Through this scheme, two LED bulbs, one DC table fan, one solar panel, a charging controller, and one mobile charger will be installed at the permanent residence of the construction worker. A guarantee of 5 years will be provided on the supplied plant. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the applicant only once. Apart from this, preference will also be given to the applicants whose children are studying between classes 9 to 12.
Funeral Assistance Scheme
Under the funeral assistance scheme, an amount of ₹ 25000 is provided to the dependents of the deceased. The benefit of this scheme will be provided only to the worker who is registered with the board. To get the benefit of this scheme, the contribution of the worker should be effective on the date of death.
Mahatma Gandhi Pension Scheme
An amount of ₹ 1000 per month will be provided to the eligible workers through Mahatma Gandhi Pension Scheme. If the beneficiary worker dies, then in this case this amount will be given to his wife or husband. This pension amount will be increased by ₹ 50 after every 2 years, which will be up to a maximum of ₹ 1250. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to only those workers whose age is more than 60 years. Only registered workers can get the benefit of this scheme. The minimum period of registration has been fixed at 10 years.
Disaster Relief Assistance Plan
In the event of a disaster through Aapda Sahayata Yojana, an amount of ₹ 1000 will be distributed in the bank account of the beneficiary in the form of annual / non-annual / quarterly/monthly (as decided by the Central and State Governments). To get the benefit of this scheme, the worker should be registered as a construction worker and should be depositing the contribution updated.
Medical Facility Plan
Under the Medical Assistance Scheme, an amount of ₹3000 per year will be provided to married construction workers and ₹2000 per year to unmarried construction workers. This amount will be disbursed directly into the bank account of the beneficiary. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to either of the spouses. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the worker only if he is registered with the board as a construction worker and is depositing the latest contribution.
